A true testament to British engineering, each deadbolt is carefully hand-assembled to ensure the inner workings dovetail together perfectly and provide a seamless operating experience and a latch that will last a lifetime.
If you're wondering which finish type to select, here's the key difference: living finishes gently patinate and change over time, ageing gracefully, whilst ageless finishes are either naturally unchanging, or boast a protective ceramic coating which mean the finish stays consistent.
Details
This privacy deadbolt is recessed into the door. It is operated by a privacy snib from the inside and emergency release from the outside. These locks are usually installed on doors that lead into a cloakroom, bathroom or WC. The privacy snib and emergency release will need to be compatible with a 5mm square spindle.
There is a version with an 8mm square spindle drive that can be used as an easy/budget lock.
With the lockcase fitted centrally within the door thickness, the minimum recommended door thickness is 35mm, and there is no recommended maximum.
Includes:
Lock case (The actual deadbolt)
Solid brass/stainless forend plate (Plate that goes over the end of the deadbolt)
Solid brass/stainless strike plate (Plate that is fitted to the frame)
