PRODUCT STORY
Joseph Giles partnered with Collett Zarzycki, the respected London-based interior design and architecture practice, to create a stunning range of marble hardware inspired by the opulence of the 1930s. The design team envisioned the collection perfectly cohering with the buildings of pioneering architects of the period, such as Jose Plecnik and Adolf Loos.
We took this vision and explored the possibilities to bring it to life: a challenging but rewarding task, as marble is a beautiful but delicate material to shape. The completed designs feature the finest marble including White Onyx, Green Guatemala, Red Laguna, and Black Portoro to provide jewel-like finishing touches for the ultimate in luxury design schemes. Joseph Giles understood their design idea and explored the possibilities to bring their vision to life. This was particularly challenging as marbles are delicate materials to work with both for shaping and finishing, but also when used in their finished form.
