Polished copper is a plated finish that is applied to our solid brass products, copper plating entails using electricity to apply a very thin layer of copper and then carefully hand polishing to achieve this bright and shiny finish. Copper is sometimes favoured because of its antimicrobial properties.

What will happen over time:

Copper is a living finish that will oxidise and age very quickly, turning into a darker colour that will give way to a more greener patina over time.

Where can it be used:

We recommend that this finish is used in internal areas. It can be used externally, although will patinate much faster.

Maintenance:

Copper finishes can be cleaned with a soft lint free cloth and warm soapy water.
