Description:
A hand applied antique effect treatment, which is then sealed with a ceramic coating. To achieve this, the craftsmen apply a chemical treatment which adds a colourant. This process is undertaken several times to achieve the required depth of colour. The piece is hand polished and worked back to the metal to achieve an aged antique look, which is then sealed with the robust coating.
What will happen over time:
Unlike our signature Mid Antique Brass Waxed (MABW) finish, this ceramic coated version will be kept in its original state, just as it was when it was first hand-finished.
Where can it be used:
This finish can be used in most spaces due to the robust ceramic coating, rendering it suitable for outdoor, high-traffic and even coastal environments.
Maintenance:
Wipe any dirt or dust off with a dry, soft cloth.
