Brushed copper is a plated finish that is applied to our solid brass products, copper plating entails using electricity to apply a very thin layer of copper and then carefully hand sateened to achieve this delicate brushed finish. Copper is sometimes favoured because of its antimicrobial properties.

What will happen over time:

Copper is a living finish that will oxidise and age very quickly, turning into a darker colour that will give way to a more greener patina over time.

Where can it be used:

We recommend that this finish is used in internal areas. It can be used externally, although will patinate much faster.

Maintenance:

Copper finishes can be cleaned with a soft lint free cloth and warm soapy water.
