LA1205: Magnetic Mortice Euro Profile Lock

Mortice euro profile latch lock with magnetic latch.


The high performance euro profile mortice lock case features a magnetic latch bolt, this enables almost soundless operation and is ideally suited to applications where doors are set into deep reveals, this is due to the absence of a protruding latchbolt which would normally require the use of unsightly extended strike plates, in this instance the latch bolt is only triggered when aligned with the strike plate, the strike plate also includes a feature where it is reversible, this provides some adjustment for doors with acoustic seals or to provide some tolerance during installation.

DETAILS

These high-performance vertical euro profile latch locks are recessed into the door. The latchbolt is operated by a pair of lever handles and an 8mm spindle, the latchbolt is then deadlocked by a euro profile cylinder from one or both sides depending on the type of cylinder used.


With the lockcase fitted centrally within the door thickness, the minimum recommended door thickness is 40mm and no real limit on the maximum thickness.


Forend, strike plate and screws are hand finished in our signature finishes.

SPBEARING

Stainless steel roses with springing mechanism and sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The unique rota-bearing sprung rose brings smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common lever handle issues. The unique rota-bearing sprung rose is our preferred option to be used with all lever handles.

BEARING

Stainless steel roses with sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. The unique bearing rose is our preferred option to be used with all door knobs.

BASIC

Flat aluminium rose, that may have to be used in some situations where the Grip Tight, Self-centring, Sprung Bearing Inner-Rose System cannot be accommodated, for example, thin metal doors.

This rose option is not our preferred rose to supply with lever handles or door knobs, it does not offer any of the properties and or performance of the grip tight or sprung rose designs, and operation of the handles are purely down to the strength of the lock and highly accurate installation.

FIXED

Stainless steel roses with TIG-welded fixed spindles.

A highly durable fixed rose for use where a lever handle or door knob is not required to turn, or rotate but is needed to be installed in a push/pull application, e.g. when used in conjunction with a magnetic catch on a cupboard door.

HSTO BEARING

Stainless steel single sided rose with TIG welded spindle with bearing for smooth operation, designed for lever handles and door knobs.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. To be operated from one side of the door by the use of a single door knob.
