Our products come in a variety of metal finishes, each requiring a different method of cleaning and maintenance. While you are welcome to use your own cleaning products, it’s important to note that some chemicals may damage the finish on our products. If you are sourcing your own, please read through our Guide to Finishes.
We are able to recommend a range of tried and tested products which we believe will keep your products looking and feeling their best. These can be purchased through various good home retailers. Please do let us know if we can help advise you on this.

Polished Chrome
: We recommend using a soft, lint-free cloth and warm, soapy water in conjunction with Talk Town’s Classic Chrome Polish to finish.

Polished Nickel
: We recommend cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth and warm soapy water. To maintain the original finish, clean with a good quality metal cleaner, such as Town Talk’s Classic Chrome Polish.

Brushed Nickel
: We recommend cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth and warm soapy water.

Polished Brass
: We recommend using a soft, lint-free cloth and warm, soapy water, followed by Town Talk’s Unrivalled Anti-Tarnish Brass and Copper polish. Finish with a light application of beeswax.

Brushed Brass
: We recommend cleaning in warm soapy water followed by a light application of beeswax to restore and preserve the finish.

Mid-Antique Brushed Waxed
: We recommend cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth followed by a light application of beeswax to preserve the finish. This finish is not compatible with chemical-based cleaners, soaps or abrasive materials.

Dark Bronze Waxed
: We recommend cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth followed by a light application of beeswax to preserve the finish. This finish is not compatible with chemical-based cleaners, soaps or abrasive materials.

Satin Stainless Steel:
We recommend cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth and soapy water.

Polished Stainless Steel
: We recommend cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth and soapy water, followed by Town Talk’s Remarkable Stainless Steel Polish.

Marble
: We recommend applying a thin layer of Town Talk’s marble surface wax with a lint-free cloth.

Leather
: We recommend cleaning our leather products with a soft, clean cloth. You can also use good quality leather cleaning kits, such as Buffalos which includes a cleaning solution and conditioner.

Shagreen
: Simply wipe it cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth.
